A bit more about us...
Hi, I'm Byron, founder and owner of Track Tech. I was born and raised here in Western North Carolina.
These mountains have been my backyard while growing up and home to my heart. After spending the last five years out in California inspecting powerlines with drones for wildfire mitigation, my wife, Keegan, and I decided to bring that experience back home to Hendersonville.
Working on the front lines of fire safety taught me something: overgrown land isn't just an eyesore.. it’s a risk. I’ve spent years analyzing terrain from the air and the ground, seeing exactly how heavy fuel loads and "unreachable" brush can threaten mountain homes. When I got back to WNC, I saw our ridges getting swallowed up by that same kind of jungle, and I knew a standard tractor wasn't always the right tool for the job.
That’s why I started Track Tech. I wanted to bring a high-tech, safety-first approach to the land clearing industry here at home. We use the remote-controlled RCU-55 because it’s the most effective way to handle our steep, technical slopes without the safety risks or the soil damage that a lot of heavier equipment leaves behind.
I take a lot of pride in being a local who actually understands this land. When I’m not out on a ridge, you’ll probably find me at the lake or exploring the same trails I’ve hiked my whole life.
I’m here to show up, do the job right, and treat your property with the respect it deserves.
